ACT Waterford was delighted to host Sean Corcoran’s Temporary Treasures workshop as part of the launch of SETU’s Sustainability Strategy.
The launch of the “Coastal Cube” was held on 21st April at Carrickphierish Library in Co. Waterford, celebrating seashores, their plants and marine animals.

“Donate A Plate” is a creative climate action project led by artist Sean Corcoran in partnership with ACT Waterford. The initiative invited the public to donate broken or unused crockery, transforming these everyday items into a large-scale community mosaic.
Joanne Donohue selected a high-visibility, accessible exhibition space at Carraigpheirish Library in September 2025. The installation formed a central feature within the library.
In November ‘Seaweed Girl’ returned for seasonal visits to Christmas festivals in Waterford and Dungarvan.
